Tumblr School: Moving around your (many many) sub-blogs

Your dashboard displays your primary blog, one of your secondary blogs, and then a bulleted list icon that pops open a click-down list with the rest of your magnificent projects.

But perhaps you want to change the order of these—say, because you’re devoting a lot of time to a recently created sub-blog, as I was with Yahoo’s Dear Class of 2012

When you’re in that pull-down menu, hover over the four dots that appear to the right side of the blog names; your cursor will turn into a diamond.

Grab ahold of a set of those dots and you’ll be able to change where that blog title appears on your list. Moving a blog to one of the first two spots will make it appear on that top navigation (and removing your primary blog from one of the top two spots will force only one blog to appear.)

Look! Now I can remember to check up on Dear Class of 2012, because it’s the second blog I see when I log in:

Bottom line: Make your dashboard work for you by reordering which blogs appear there.
