I just semi impulse bought two pair of Keith Haring underwear at Uniqlo because they were 2 for $9 but after swiping my card I immediately felt a powerful and shameful kind of buyer’s remorse I’ve never felt before and I’d return them but proceeds go to the Keith Haring foundation so that it seems wrong to take it back.

This is very weird. I feel very weird about this Keith Haring underwear that I now own.

BOBBY. I photographed some Keith Haring sneaks at a shop on 14th here in DC, but haven’t Tumbl’ed it yet because I too feel so uncomfortable with the commercialization of Haring.

“The whole Q&A product formulation is a red herring. The fact that you ask questions to elicit the information is not relevant. Repeat: You don’t come to Quora to ask a question and get answers. If you’ve tried that out, it doesn’t really work that well. What does work well is asking question to elicit opinions or information about a subject in general. If you do that, you stand a fairly good chance of experts (or at least well-informed opinion-holders) expounding at length about the subject. Directed questions towards experts or elites also stand a fairly good chance of a detailed answer, combined with the extra value of knowing who the answer is coming from.”

“people will want to go back to the list of search results to check out the items they’ve just seen, comparing them to what else they’ve discovered somewhere else down the list. Having a paginated interface lets the user keep a mental location of the item. They may not necessarily know the exact page number, but they will remember roughly what it was, and the paginated links will let them get there easier. Not only does the infinite scroll break this dynamic, it also makes it difficult to move up and down the list, especially when you return to the page at another time and find yourself back at the top, being forced to scroll down the list once again and wait for the results to load. In this way the infinite scroll interface is actually slower than the paginated one.”
